Congratulations Azul on winning the Ralph Cook Summer Camp Scholarship. We are impressed with your year round participation in so many different sports from volleyball, to softball and swim. We are excited for your opportunity to attend the UC Davis overnight Volleyball Camp and then see the skills in action for the Rio Vista High School Rams next Volleyball season. And keep up those stellar 4.0 grades!!!

My name is Azul Ramirez. This is my second year playing Volleyball at the middle school.  Winning this scholarship means more to me than words can express. Volleyball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I remember my mom coaching volleyball to my older sister, and thinking I can’t wait to be old enough to be part of the team. This opportunity to attend the camp will have a significant impact on my growth, skill and development as a player. And will improve my chances of making it to the high school volleyball team
